It's May! I'm always happy to start a new month because I feel like its a fresh start. I am especially happy to start this month because it means in 9 days I will be done with school for the semester and in 31 days I'll be jetting off to San Francisco with one of my closest friends. Yay!
I had a bad week with the Easter candy and what not so I'm starting anew with my eating and working out today. I bought only fresh food yesterday at Target (and a few canned items) but no frozen, or high in sodium, or high in fat foods. I didn't even buy any candy! Fruit, veggies and lean protein. And enough for variety. I get bored of the things I eat that are healthy, and that's when I turn to fast food and the vending machine. Soup gets boring. I plan on make more salad's like the one I did yesterday. I have some lean pork and beef to either use on my mini George Foreman grill, or sear. The funny thing is I like healthy food, I just don't take the time to prepare it. It's just hard when you're feeling tired and having a sugar crash.
Another good thing about today. . . I'm getting a new computer!! I will finally be the owner of a Mac. I have to finish my Micro paper before I can transfer all my documents to the new laptop - an incentive to hurry up and stop procrastinating! I'm super excited about it! I hope this will be a good month. It seems to be starting off right =)
