Camp Gladiator

I went to Camp Gladiator last night with R&T (as you can tell from my previous post!) and it was SO HARD. I'm not sure I've ever done a more difficult work out. I really thought I was in slightly better shape, but this camp proved me way wrong. I literally almost cried mid workout. I didn't. But I could have. We did:
  • Running
  • Sprints
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Squat Jacks
  • Side Steps
  • Traveling Lunges
  • High Knees
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Burpees
  • Lateral Jacks
  • Planks
  • Push Ups
  • Bicyles
  • Toe Touches
  • Flutter Kicks
just to name a few. It didn't help that it was still hot out at 630pm, but it's May in Texas. I should have known better. I was wearing socks that were too thick, a tank AND a t-shirt. So hot. I tried putting my towel over my head, but that made it hard to breathe.

Here's the promotional video, if you want to check it out: http://cglive.tv/promotional-videos/i-like-how-it-feels/

Apparently they never repeat a workout. Every trainer does something different everytime. I guess that keeps it interesting!

Here I am, post work out, after fresh water and in an air conditioned car. I can manage just one smile on my tomato face. I was so exhausted.

I feel a little sore today, mainly in my forearms and my back. We are going to go again on Thursday and I'm debating signing up for the 4 week class. It would be really good for me, I'm sure. Blast some fat and gain some strength!
