WIAW #21

I skipped last week because I didn't really have some worthy of posting, but this week I have ALOT to share with you! I wanted to make it look all cool and pretty, but I'm still trying to figure out editing tools on my MacBook. Oh well!

Breakfast time! My protein pancake kinda turned into a scramble, but I made it pretty with some sliced strawberries!
I decided to go with kiwi and extra blueberries the next time. And the pancake stayed pretty much whole!
Lunch time! I made a big batch of Tone It Up chili and it was soooo spicy (I might have overdone it with the cayenne) that the Greek yogurt and cucumbers were essential to cooling down my mouth!
Lunch at my. Awesome presentation!
Lunch at Kona Grill! Potstickers to start. I remembered to take a pic after 4 had been eaten. They were pretty good, although slightly greasy.
I ordered a tuna tower and took a picture before they mashed it all up! It was good, a little spicy. Perhaps not as good as Blue Fish, but still delicious!
I posted this on Instagram - lunch at Dave and Busters over the weekend! The nutritional stats on this are appalling, but that's probably why it tasted so good! Buffalo Bar Chicks - Buffalo chicken strips on mini buns with blue cheese dressing, lettuce and tomato. I only had one side of the buns to save a few calories. S finished off the chicken I couldn't eat =)
It also came with a side of sweet potato fries, which I barely made a dent in, but they were good!
Drink time! One peach-banana-strawberry smoothie for a pre-boot camp snack. Peananaberry!? No?
I've stocked up on Kombucha drinks for a mid-morning pick me up. I hadn't tried the mango flavor and it was pretty good. I think my favorite still might be the strawberry or guava.
Dinner time! My mom made a veggies salsa this weekend with black beans, peppers, corn, avocados, cilantro and lime juice. I love it (except the cilantro part), but I didn't want to eat it with chips so I subbed cucumber and it was delicious. I didn't even miss the chips!
Underneath this pile of shredded roasted red pepper monterrey jack cheese I promise there is some Tone It Up chili which I warmed up for dinner one night. I know I already showed it, but really I just wanted to show off the cheese ;-)
I was craving pizza one night, so I went to Pie Five and got a "Tree Hugger" which is basically every veggie they have and I added chopped tomatoes. Thin crust, marinara, light sprinkling of mozzarella. Totally hit the spot. YUM!
S would hate this!
I branched out and made a shrimp dish for the first time (that's what created the giant mess in my previous post) and it turned out pretty good! Simple coconut shrimp and I've found I really like green onions!
Don't forget to visit Jenn @ Peas and Crayons to check out more delicious eats!
