Dallas Aquarium

A few Sunday's ago we went to do something different and not just laze about all day. S decided he wanted to go to the Dallas Aquarium so off we went! I'm suprised I never noticed it before after 3 years of working downtown. We beat the rush, which was awesome. Here's the day in pictures.

Pretty stingray. I wanted to pet it like I did in Charleston. Hmm, I don't think I had this blog when I went to Charleston. I shall have to dig up some pictures and highlights from that trip!

Giant sea turtle. Maybe it's Crush! Hundred and fifty, and still young, dude.

Uh oh, the sharks are comin'. It's feeding time! We got to see the sharks eating shrimp and little octopi/octopuses (both are acceptable pluralizations of octopus. I checked.) 

Flamingoooos. Such a pretty color. I never understood why they stood on one leg.

After we made it all around the aquarium we had lunch at the Mexican restaurant inside. I had the shredded chicken tacos, and they were pretty yummy! It's nice to do something different every now and again.
