TWLC3 Update

I had a really good start to the week last week. I went three days sticking to my diet plan, working out and avoiding chocolate. The end of the week was not so good, ending with Sunday and a candy feast. Oops. But no worries, I'm back on track again. My weight pretty much held constant from last week.
It had been four weeks since I was last measured. Here's what changed over those four weeks:
Calf - 1/4 inch gain, but I'm not concerned about my calfs at all, because they are pretty muscular.
Thighs - 3/4ths lost
Hips - No change
Waist - 1/2 inch lost
Arms - one inch lost!!!
Neck - no change

I'm very excited about the change in my arms. They are the body part I'm most self concious about and am desperate to change. It took awhile, but I'm really glad I stuck it out this time because things are chanaging!!

I'm confessing right here that Sunday was 100% the old me. I didn't work out, I sat on the couch all day and I ate chocolate, gummies and Dominos. And I felt terrible. Not even guilty, just so blah and sick and blah.

I didn't do my 5k over the weekend, but I wasn't going to let myself off the hook on that one, so I went to the gym last night and busted it out. I ran 1.5 miles straight, about 20 minutes and then my shoulder started to hurt so I power walked the rest of the way. My reflection on last night:

It's amazing how far I've come and how far you can go if you set your mind to it. My weight might not always go down at the rate I would like, but with inches lost and my fitness level increasing, I know I'm doing something right.

There are about 14 and a half weeks of TWLC3 left. I need to keep a steady pace of 2lbs per week if I want to achieve my goal. I really can do this, I just need to stay commited and focused. And dammit, I want to use my new Coach purse already!!!
