Day 7 & 8 - Drive Home

The drive home was pretty uneventful. It took us awhile to get back on the road as a couple errands needed to be taken care of before officially leaving. Official departure time: 953am. Am I a time nazi, or what?

We went back the same route we came, stopped in Gallup again for the night, this time at a Holiday Inn. I took a lot of pictures of scenery, but I'm sure you don't want to see mountain after mountain, so here's one I liked the best.

The next day we managed to leave at 8am, woo! This was a long drive, especially because we lost an hour this time. Once we were back in Texas, it was back to straight roads and flat scenery.

All in all it was a pretty great trip! The drive was scenic, although it would have been quicker to fly of course. The hotel was great, the weather was so nice - I love the ocean breeze! We had fun with all the activities and enjoyed relaxing at the hotel (yay for no work!) I love you, palm trees. You shall be missed.
