TWLC3 & Yoga Challenge Recap

So today marks the end of That Weight Loss Challenge 3. Back in April when I started this challenge I had really high hopes for myself. I was going to get it done, I was going to win!

Well, I think it's safe to say I'm not going to win. Some seriously awesome ladies kicked butt in this challenge and put me to shame ;-)

But, it helped me get started and I'm grateful for that. And I connected with a few great girls and I'm grateful for that too! As much as I had hoped I wouldn't need another challenge, I almost wish we were going straight into TWLC4! But, hopefully, by the time TWLC4 rolls around I won't need it and can just cheer on the ladies participating!

I lost roughly 10lbs, so I didn't completely bomb this challenge like TWLC2 (where I gained weight), and even though I'm not at my goal like I had hoped, I should still be happy because a loss is a loss, right?! So, congratulations to the winners and to everyone who lost! I'm sure Jenna will be posting results soon.

Moving on, lets recap the October Yoga Challenge! 
Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life
Challenge: 3 sessions of yoga each week

Actual: 2 sessions
  • Monday - 30 minute session of Pocket Yoga
  • Thursday - 45 minute session of Pocket Yoga
So, while I didn't meet the three session goal, I actually spent more time doing yoga last week than the previous week, so now all I have to work on is getting in that third session!

This is the app I've been using:
It lets me select either 30 mins, 45 mins or 60 mins and has varying difficulty levels. I haven't made it past beginner just yet.
I plan on doing a session tonight and Wednesday, then I just need to fit in one more to meet my weekly goal!
